Over night retreat option: Saturday 16th August 11am - Sunday 17th August 12 noon
On the Wild Feminine Way Retreat hosted by senior Tantra Yoga Teacher, Celtic wisdom guide and Women’s health coach Emma Rose Lowe - you are invited to come back home to yourself and your wild feminine nature. This is a call to all who feel the ache in their bones to awaken their own healing, feminine power and creativity.
Through Celtic, Tantric and Shamanic practice, Plant Wisdom, Mysteries teachings, Ritual, Craft and Community we will explore the wild feminine energies arising in the natural world for you to deepen your intuition, ignite your creativity and unleash your authentic expression to embody the wild one that you truly are.
Reclaim your inner rhythms and wild nature
Embrace the seasonal changes and understand your inner seasons and wild rhythms this Summer as you take time to pause and restore in nature and connect to your deeper self and other like hearted women.
For those yearning to connect to the indigenous feminine wisdom of Ireland and remember how wildness might have tasted on the tongues of our ancestors, this women’s retreat day falls at the Celtic celebration of Lughnasa - the final summer festival in the Celtic Wheel of the Year that commences the season of the Enchantress in the natural world.
Underneath the layers of conditioning and generational trauma of womanhood where we have learnt to stay safe by staying quiet, playing small and giving away our pleasure and our power dwells the deep feminine and she is inviting you to remember now your own fiery, fierce force. Yes! She already lives within you, all you have to do is remember Her.

Lughnasa, [pronounced “loo-nas-a”] is the the Celtic Festival of the first Harvest and invites us to pause, restore and reconnect amidst the busyness of life. Late Summer is the time of ripening and abundance in the natural world and this day retreat is designed to support you to show up as your fullest, most authentic expression of who you are here to be.
The container allows women to feel and heal places that cannot be reached alone. It is an invitation to drop the comparisons, judgement and shaming of other women and heal the inner witch, bitch and sisterhood wound that patriarchy has beaten into us all and rise together. So if you have been yearning for the beating drum of kindred hearts, the smell of mossy Earth and sacred fire, dancing under an open sky, and the freedom to express all parts of your being, then this retreat day is for you.

Why go on a Women’s Retreat?
Making time for yourself is so very important, especially when living within a (patriarchal) society built on moving further, faster, bigger, grind. It isn’t always possible to hit the brakes as often as we would like, so dedicating an entire day/night to let go, indulge and surrender is not just special but vital for your health, wellbeing and sense of purpose and connection to your life and the world around you.
This Women’s retreat is an opportunity to spend unforgettable quality time with the brilliant women in your life and meet new ones . (Group size is kept small). This day is open to all who identify as women. Lots of Women come by themselves and we promise you will quickly feel right at home.

Venue:
This Retreat is held at a beautiful Georgian farmhouse nestled in 2.5 acres of ancient trees and wild meadows, in the rolling hills of Co Down.
Located on a small townland just outside of Belfast called Cargacreevy which translate from old Irish ‘Carraig na craoibhe’ as ‘Rock of the great tree’.
Our classes and workshops will be held in the Hayloft studio with its spacious scandi feel and beautiful pitched ceilings.
In your down time you can take a breath out on the tree lined land, explore the witches kitchen garden and wild meadows or relax in the old coach house used for outdoor dining, workshops and fire pujas. Or snuggle up with a book by the fire in one of the drawing rooms.
Residential accommodation is based on 2-3 persons sharing per room. The cosy, bespoke bedrooms at Mother of the Woods are inspired by different Celtic goddesses. Additionally we provide two indoor lounge areas for relaxation and a communal dining space known as ‘the morning room’.
The full address of our private venue + directions will be sent to you on completion of sign up.
Mother of the Woods is an 8 minute drive from the M1 Junction at Lisburn
& only 10 minutes from Saintfield, Carryduff, Temple and Ballynahich.
20/25 minutes from Belfast City centre.
Please note that your booking is 100% non refundable. If you are unable to attend and your ticket can be resold, you may be eligible for a partial transferral to a later date, minus an administration fee. Please note this is based on good will and availability.
