Spring Equinox Day Retreat

A day of deep Feminine, Celtic wisdom with Emma Rose Lowe & friends

Saturday 18th March 11am - 6pm

Shake off the stagnation of Winter and awaken the deep feminine energy, healing power and creativity of Spring in your bones with this immersive day retreat set on a beautiful Georgian farmhouse in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.

This generous retreat includes a foraging/ID walk and herbal workshop, practices that help you cultivate your creativity, meditation, live music from celebrated singer songwriter Rachel Sermanni and a Spring inspired feast.

The day has been designed to help you align with the energies of the vernal equinox and connect to your body wisdom, inner rhythm and intuition.

This is a whole day dedicated to nurturing you - to reset and plant seeds of intention for the season ahead that is guaranteed to be a wee bit magic and leave you feeling aligned, inspired and deeply nourished on all levels.

A Spring Equinox / Sheela’s Day event :::

Spring Equinox is an astronomical event where in the waxing year day and night are equal length for a moment. As an ancient Celtic festival point, Spring Equinox marks a time of balance and unity between the masculine (day/solar) and feminine (night/Earth) energies of the natural world. As buds burst through naked branches and flowers flash through previously bleak and barren spaces, the feminine energy of the Earth is unashamedly in her element in Spring. As day and night come into balance, the feminine Earth energies are met and supported to rise and bloom by the growing solar masculine energy as the light returns, stretching the days and warming us all up after the long winter. When we attuned to this naturally arising energy we, as nature, can equally be supported in our own growth.

With this very special event we will also be reclaiming the ancient Celtic celebration of Sheela’s day - which is the long forgotten feminine counterpart to St Patricks Day representing the Mother archetype/goddess of Ireland.

On a deeper level, Spring Equinox is also a time for new beginnings, working with our intentions and actively cultivating courage and creativity and is a great time for trying new things.
